PerfumeGuide

Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 28, 2026

PerfumeGuide ("we", "us", "the app") helps you discover fragrances. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

What we don't collect

We do not use advertising trackers, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties. Face ID / Touch ID app-lock, if enabled, is handled entirely by your device's own operating system — we never receive your biometric data.

How we use your information

Third-party services we use

We rely on a small number of service providers to operate the app: a cloud database and authentication provider (stores your account and app data), a fragrance-data provider (supplies the perfume catalog — this provider does not receive your personal data), a language-processing provider (used server-side to generate fragrance descriptions — no personal data is sent to it), and Apple's App Store (handles all payment processing for subscriptions). Each provider only receives the minimum data needed to perform its function.

Your choices

Data retention

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal data promptly, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.

Children's privacy

PerfumeGuide is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
