Delete Your Account

This page explains how to permanently delete your PerfumeGuide account and what happens to your data when you do.

How to delete your account

1. Open the PerfumeGuide app and sign in.
2. Go to Profile → Settings.
3. Tap Delete Account and confirm.

Your account is deleted immediately — there is no waiting period. If you can't access the app (e.g. you're locked out), email nickbui323@gmail.com from the address associated with your account and we'll delete it for you.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes all of the following, with no retention period:

• Your account and login credentials (email, sign-in method)
• Your profile (username, language preference)
• Comments and replies you've posted
• Your saved favorites and quiz/search history
• Your Pro subscription status and usage records

What is retained

We don't retain any of your personal data after account deletion. The only exception is subscription/purchase records kept by Apple or Google themselves as part of their own payment systems — those are governed by Apple's and Google's own policies, not ours, and we have no ability to delete them on your behalf.
